I'm a regular on warwick forum, i go by callum there (real name). So guess the little about me, i'm 19 a music tech student at york university. I play bass (well duh) got a few bands ect. gearwise(probably what most of you guys are wondering ) I play a few warwick basses, thumb BO 5, SSI and fretless $$. I did Electronics with Muc Tech at York, loved the mus tech but not the electronics!! Cracking place, have you got involved with all the BandSoc stuff? Does Woodstock still happen?!! Took part in the battle of the bands though got to the final, which i heard was rare for a first year band. Theres some vids on the ystv website, the band is girl of prey...the vid kinda explains why we didn't get any place (lead singer likes to rant is all i'm saying!). Will go check out the BoB videos - nice one for getting to the final! I only entered in my 2nd 3rd and 4th years - semi final, runner up, third place. When we were runner up we lost on a technicality of the whole band being the main people on the BoB committee so it would've looked mighty odd had we won... So much better venues than langwith imo. Due to a few issues we kinda pissed off bandsoc quite a bit, but URY really liked us, besides the huge amount of swearing from the lead singer. I was on the committee for 3 years and got all sorts of abuse on the bandsoc forum for perceived favouritism which was never there except for in everyone's heads!!
