I find myself with a surfeit (4) of combos and as my PJB Briefcase isn't attracting any interest, thought I would post this up. Its the highly regarded Mini CMD121P combo and I bought it in May 2013 from BC'er Toasting (aka Jamie) in excellent near-mint condition with a padded custom RoqSolid cover. Its hardly left my house since (as I tend to use smaller PJB or Acoustic Image combo with my DB gigs) so it remains in excellent condition.

No box so its collected/meet-up only in London area. I am after £475 including custom cover

I was looking at the original FS thread there.

The guy who you bought it from has "In the market for a Markbass Mini CMD121P" written at the bottom of his signature. Maybe fire him a message?

Thanks Fionn but I think that is a bit of a historic statement on Jamie's part. After selling to me, he ended up buying another Markbass combo (the very similar CMD121H), which he recently sold again on BC to help pay for his teacher training

Having slagged off their gear - especially cabs - in the past, I've come around to the view that as far as all-round practice/rehearsal/gigging combos go, there is no better brand/manufacturer out there than Marbass. OK, Phil Jones and the like make great gear, but no other manufacturer ticks as many combo boxes as do Markbass. Not only is the gear generally small, lightweight, and surprisingly powerful, but time and again I've found it almost impossible to dial in a bad tone, and I've owned everything from the ludicrously small but perfectly formed 1x8, the 2x6, the 2x10, the 1x12 (the older version that Clarky's selling here) and the 1x15. Great gear.

I'm even starting to like the yellow cones

[sup]Thank you Chris! Not sure I should really sell this but to be honest its just sat at home and in my rare non-DB gigs (eg my Uncle Tupelo tribute) I am playing with acoustic musicians so I only bring the weeny PJB combo along anyway[/sup]

[sup]Edit: this is sale only, no trades, as I need to raise some money for excitinmg house repairs <_< [/sup]

I have one of these for rehearsal and small gig use.

I used it earlier this year at an important wedding gig with a top band and it sounded just great.

They work really well even up against a loud drummer :)

Surprisngly more powerful than the size of these amps would indicate. I`ve used mine in an 8-piece (punky type) band, no FOH and it`s been fine.

Cheers Lozz!

Update: in the event I find a suitable box and can post, one BCer has PM'd me and has first dibs. However, right now I do not have packaging so its still available on a pick-up/meet-up basis in London
