iamtheelvy
Quite interesting news: http://www.bossus.com/go/boss_snamm_2014/ Do you think we can get them to reissue the OC-2?
GarethFlatlands
Looks interesting, I'm glad that they're concentrating on a few of the older gems they have among the huge amount of pedals they've done over the years. If it's a success, I can see them branching out and doing it for other pedals so maybe the OC-2 is on the cards!
Sibob
The DM-2 is the most interesting one in there for me. I don't think they'll do the OC-2 anytime soon, but maybe older ones like the VB-2 or SG-1 perhaps Si
Kev
I am all over the DM-2W! the DM-2 is a superb pedal, I wonder if this will have the bass whammy effect on the originals?
NoirBass
Bass whammy effect? I hope they do release a few more of the originals. It'd be worth their while as the originals go for silly money these days.
iamtheelvy
Bass whammy effect?
Also: ? Anyway, yeah, into the DM-2 - Love an analogue delay!
paul_5
Boss OD-1 please!
dudewheresmybass
Perhaps he's referring to the pricing of the older bass whammy reducing now the newer one is released?
0175westwood29
yeh reissuing the oc-2 with a modern and classic switch which i think is what the switch is, would basically be a oc-3 no? i must admit a bit of interest in the delay, but not sure the blues driver needed a reissue? andy
Possibly, although Boss have tried to emulate the DM-2 on the DD-7 before.....and failed.....so unless the new DM-2w completely nails the original sound, I think the original will stay in the high price range. Also remember that there are a LOT of DM-2 clones, but people still go back to the original Si

From the way this seems to be marketed, it will be the same circuit with an additional mode?
Sibob
Yeah DD-7 is digital but has an analogue (DM-2) emulation. I'm assuming DM-2w is exactly the same circuitry as the original , as you say, seems to be how they've marketed it. But they have added another mode.....so the circuitry is different.....so could sound different We'll see Si
