Matte_black
If I remember correctly the 6er was introduced that year... so it should be the 7th six strings Thumb ever made. http://forum.warwick.de/archive/index.php/t-9668.html Edited August 12, 2014 by Matte_black

Matte_black
As I said, no chance Hans Wilfer had something to do with the build of this bass. He's a businessman, not a luthier by any means. But yeah, I think this is a nice collectors item (and of course a very nice sounding and playing instrument). It is quite possible he was involved in making this. He built the other 88 thumb 6 that was sold on here a while ago, had an email from the man himself saying so
Matte_black
Well... I am IronMan. The fact I'm stating it on a public forum makes it true? Free to believe what you want, though... not here to rain on your parade.
Kev
Okay, he certainly built early Warwicks bud, why do you think otherwise, out of interest? Matte_black
It's turning into a sort of discussion about HPW's skills and know-how... certainly out of topic and not very interesting for me The bass is still available, though. Several offers but it's still here.
