KK Jale Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 (edited) Just came across this song by a Boston band I'd never heard of… love the vocal, the arrangement, the nods to Jackson Browne/Aretha, and the bass by Bridget Kearney who also wrote the tune… Be warned, it's as hooky as fook! Roland Rock Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 That's really nice, thanks for posting. I love the Jackson Five cover that they do too. Oddly enough, this one makes me think of the Black Crowes - just their style. Quote

Mykesbass Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Had tickets to see them at Bush Hall recently and promptly went and forgot until it was too late! Only other time I did that was to see Weather Report (with Jaco) at the Hammersmith Odeon years ago! I picked up on them via the I Want You Back youtube but ended up really liking the Bad Self Portraits album. Quote
EssentialTension Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 I missed them in Brighton recently. I was introduced to them by my son buying me CD for Christmas. Quote
