I guess no one has got one then. I am sure there are plenty of them over at TB. Pop over and do a search first, or you will just get told off! :)

Try searching for essex as well as I think the search engine needs a 3 letter string.

I know that crez5150 had a fretted and a fretless because I've pestered him before with similar questions (not your question though).

I think the Rondo website does list string spacing on each guitar, but I think it may be a copy paste thing gone wrong as similar models often appear to have different dimensions.

I was tempted to buy myself but then found a cheap second hand Squier P5. Let the modding begin!!
does anyone have a link for SX - I do like their 70s look jazz.

Do they actually sound like the real thing?
Yes on the link: http://www.rondomusic.com/bassguitars4.html

I'd check on here and TB re sound, I'd suspect no, most seem to at least mod the PU

They sound Ok straight off, I found adding the £25 Gotoh 203 bridge (Fender bent tin look alike) made a significant difference but the stock pups seem Ok

The rest is Ok as it it is, too, or that's what I thought anyway.

In case anyone's wondering: Waltons don't appear to carry any of the 5-string Jazz (or Precision) models - only the Stingray copy, and the weird Yamaha-ish BG205. Compared to Rondo Music, even with shipping from the USA, their prices are getting very un-competitive these days - but Ireland is a lot closer than the USA if you want to try one first-hand.
