Bought to add to my Mandolin options but sounds strangely similar to my Ovation - which given the Ovation is the much sought after USA built MM68 is quite a compliment - so it's off again. Funny looking thing but apparently hockey stick headstocks are so hot right now :)

Will be posted in the rather lovely and diminutive Fender cardboard mandolin box

How loud is it acoustically please, and what holds the string in place where they are strung through the body? Are all mandolins the same scale length? Others I have looked at seem to be 13.7 inches.

Cheers

Forgot I'd listed this! Re the above post it's not very loud (which in the hands of children or numpties - both of which are to be found Chez Beedster - is of course a clear advantage), and the strings insert into the usual ferrules. Re scale length, I doubt there are any rules, this feels much the same as my Ovation MM68 to play length-wise, although the neck is slightly slimmer on this.

Blisters, you've barred me from the conversation you started with me?

Anyway, probably a year or so since I listed this, and as all potential buyers have not actually bought and asmy two year old has suddenly taken an interest I will see these as positive signs and keep it. Thanks for your interest folks.
