FS: Phil Jones D200 micro head and 9B cab **SOLD** £300

This is a bargain rig that I will keep if my AER sells. The cab was couriered to me and suffered a drop (bless those couriers and their delicate dispositions), so the bottom has been damaged. It sits fine with the foam supports I use, but won't sit fine on wheels. The D200 is a recent acquisition that - given its size - is ludicrously powerful and clean. I've gigged this rig it several times without problem, and to be honest I actually prefer the tone with the D-200 to that I was getting with the M-500, I've no idea if the two are voiced differently, but c'est la vie. I can't split as I'm in a 'if this rig sells then I won't sell the other one' situation, but trust me, you won't find many more hi-fi rigs than this at this prices. Collection from Canterbury or Aberystwyth only

Wow, that's an amazing deal for some terrific gear. You have to wonder what the courier did to damage the cab though as PJB stuff is bomb-proof!

Thanks WB. Yes, myself and the sender were a little surprised, and to their credit the courier company provided some compensation. It's testimony to PJB gear that it still works perfectly.

It's a great little rig. It's either this or my AER going, and if the latter sells first, I won't be too unhappy about this staying. It's great for DB but exceptionally and surprisingly good for electric bass also, which I wasn't really expecting to be he case.
