bassjamm Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 To contradict the above... I've run my SVT II at 8 ohms without any problems or loss of tone. It still works and sounds great! No damage has been caused, nor anything dodgy! Quote

I've run my SVT-CL with a single 8ohm cab in the past but I didn’t run it at high levels as i didn’t really know if it would have been causing any damage. I’d definitely not recommend running it with an 8ohm cab at high levels for a prolonged period of time, or in other words, for a gig. Changing those power valves can be very expensive :wacko: Quote
