yeah they both have the same 2ohm or 4ohm output (a very similar power stage circuit as well, so I’ve been lead to believe).
I've run my SVT-CL with a single 8ohm cab in the past but I didn’t run it at high levels as i didn’t really know if it would have been causing any damage. I’d definitely not recommend running it with an 8ohm cab at high levels for a prolonged period of time, or in other words, for a gig. Changing those power valves can be very expensive :wacko:
