I wouldn't say the neck was that unusual standard early 90s energy. The odd thing is the pickup mod that has been done.

What is unusual? Headless? Fretless? Graphite?

I still find graphite necks unusual, never seen a bass in a shop with one, and headless basses always look weird to me! Don't think I could ever own one
