spurs78
Hi all, I bought this beautiful bass guitar in Thailand a few years ago and have forgotten what the make was (you may have guessed, I'm a beginner). I've uploaded the picture of the logo. Any help much appreciated! It's a four string, wooden bass guitar with f holes. LeftyJ
This might be easier if we could see the whole bass I've never seen the logo before.
lukeward2004
No idea - warwick rip off maybe?
PlungerModerno
No idea - warwick rip off maybe?
That's what I thought. A pic of the full bass, like LeftyJ suggested, would improve chances of a match. I'm unfamiliar with the logo... any other writing or numbers on the bass? It could be a Cort or Samick bass rebranded for a regional seller - That's what I think of first when it comes to budget basses.
LeftyJ
If it has F-holes like you describe, is there a label within the body? It's not unusual for hollowbody instruments to have a label underneath the soundhole where you can find the brand, model, country of origin and / or serial number. spurs78
Hey guys, uploaded new pic of whole guitar. Nothing written on the inside of the fholes. ARgh!
BassTractor
Somebody on BC knows. I think I remember the logo from a thread two to three years ago, and back then it was solved. I tried searching, but to no avail. Keep up hope though: if enough people see the thread, eventually someone will come along who knows it. bagsieblue
Certainly has a look of a Warwick Infinity:
happynoj
Certainly has a look of a Warwick Infinity:
The logo looks like an M. Maybe it's a Marwick?
Bassassin
Somebody on BC knows. I think I remember the logo from a thread two to three years ago, and back then it was solved. Something beginning with M, then... Jon.
BassTractor
Yes, unless my memory deceives me, the name of the brand does indeed start with an M. Not that it helps much in searches. I've tried.
spurs78
Thanks guys, appreciate your help. I'm stumped. I'll just contact the shop itself but fancied the challenge! Looks like a Warwick Infinty copy...but nothing showing on google.
stingrayPete1977
Have you took the rear panel off, I presume it has a cover on the back to get at the wiring? Edited August 2, 2014 by stingrayPete1977

HowieBass
It's not a Mazeti is it? They do some slightly unusual looking basses but the few photos I've seen of them they tend to have quite fancy headstock logos.
