Mikkel-S
GONE. For various reasons I have now decided to put this very special Celinder J4 up for sale / trade. It is one of Christian Celinders finest specimens (IMO) and have been taking care of extremely well. The bass is in immaculate condition. The first 10 years of its life it was a part of a high end instrument collection and therefore have seen very little use. The bass sounds and plays absolutely phenomenal. Capable of super low action with loads of "mwah". The onboard two band green grove preamp offers plenty of tonal variation. Specs: Alder body Extremely figured birdseye maple neck Brazilian Rosewood board with epoxy coat. Celinder pickups (don't know if they we're Kent Armstrong or not.. i'll ask). Weight around 4kg. Price: 3150Euro / 2500GBP Shipped. Tradewise: F-bass, Celinder J-Update, Alleva, Fodera,.. etc.. Try me. I have what i need in Fender P's... Maybe an old Jazz or a good pre-EB Stingray? +/- cash accordingly. And the ONLY scratch on the bass: https://www.dropbox....gw/IMG_4454.jpg https://www.dropbox....ux/IMG_4456.jpg https://www.dropbox....6w/IMG_4461.jpg https://www.dropbox....jl/IMG_4484.jpg Edited September 8, 2014 by Mikkel-S

molan
Would it be possible to get an accurate weight please? I've never seen a Celinder much under 4.5KG and that extra .5KG can make quite a big difference on a strap

Mikkel-S
Molan, my kitchen scale says 4.25kg's. And yeah John, I think so myself as well.. However its not getting the attention it deserves because of this one: Its very different compared to the Jazz but it fits my style of playing better. fingerz
Stunning bass. If i wanted a fretless Jazz this would be it. BTW the pickups do indeed look like the Armstrong humbuckers, which work v well with the Celinder pre to get that single coil tone. Amazing. Good luck with the sale! johnbiffa
Very similar to mine with the traditional vol, vol tone passive controls, I hadn't seen one like mine before, what model is it classed as? Mine is more of a Lake Placid blue metallic, never had the neck off so not sure how old.
