bubinga5
Was listening to this album today. Later albums were good but didn't quite have the impact that this one did. One of the greats of the so called Acid Jazz era. Modern UK Jazz Funk is better for me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUTzGPoalso http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zx0mc5fa15k

TheGreek
I remember seeing them supporting Paul Weller (with OCS as his support band) in Finsbury Park on a baking hot Sunday a few years ago. Very little shade in the Park so I was one of many who left with sunstroke....

bluesparky
Ah, This takes me back to my sixth form days! Someone had "the plot thickens" on the stereo in the minibus on a biology field trip to Wales, we listened it to death - it was the first acid jazz I listened to and that got me into a bunch of other bands too.
