Jean-Luc Pickguard
This looks interesting but pointless http://www.youtube.com/v/PJCRBPY_bJ0 Shame that the resultant sound as awful as is the choice of song to demo it Edited July 27, 2014 by Jean-Luc Pickguard
discreet
Looks like it would be good for metal.
BassBus
I've always wondered what was inside my head. Human evolution has moved on further though. It miniturised it all long before this ever appeared.
Roger2611
Quick delete this thread...if a guitard sees this we are history
yepmop
Interesting, but lacks the "Human" feel to it. Our jobs are safe (for now ). Plus lacks a "Bass Face"
steve-bbb
but on the other hand it could be quite useful as it would be able to carry an 8x10 and all the rest of its own gear from van to venue in one trip
Painy
Well it can manage straight root notes okay but I'd like to see it have a go at a John Pattitucci solo!

Then we could drop this pretence that we really prefer lightweight gear.

BigGuyAtTheBack
As an engineering exercise its utterly brilliant but we're not out of a job yet! Being an electronics tech many moons ago, I really appreciate the amount work that would have been needed to tweak that system to get it that good to play 'Hysteria' Nice choice of pick, my favorite orange Dunlops
Dingus
Without going into too much detail, I have suspected that Mrs Dingus believes that I can be replaced quite satisfactorily with various bits of machinery, and if she sees this video then I have no doubt it will reinforce that belief. Significantly, however, I cannot help but notice that the mad scientists behind this crazy scheme have chosen Coldplay as their demonstration track. Without wishing to sound too harsh, the bass player in Coldplay could be replaced with silence and you wouldn't really notice much difference, never mind a robot. I would like to hear this robot try and get funky a la Stevie Wonder before I judge it. It will probably blow a fuse . Similarly with Mrs Dingus, none of her current pieces of apparatus, however generously proportioned, will go to the corner shop and buy her an ice lolly at ten o'clock at night. She ought to bear that in mind. Edited July 27, 2014 by Dingus
stingrayPete1977
If its the clip I think it is then the drummer is at the wrong gig or our favourite Japanese transvestite should be along shortly
