dave_bass5
Ok, i know OBBM's are the greatest in the world etc and i have a few but was just given a George L patch lead. Its very thin but i do like the look of it. Just wondering what the score is with these leads.
Finbar
They save a huge amount of space on pedalboards, and you can wire them to any length (also, when it comes to rewiring your pedalboard and needing some different lengths, the cable is cheap enough to just pull out and put new stuff in). I wouldn't use it for anything more than the protected pedalboard environment, but yes, I like them a lot [quote name='dave_bass5' post='247588' date='Jul 25 2008, 10:06 AM']Ok, i know OBBM's are the greatest in the world etc and i have a few but was just given a George L patch lead. thumbo
I'm a fan of these cables. They've got a very pure sound IMO. I very geekily A/B'd one recently with a Planet Waves Custom series cable. The Planet Waves gave a little more mid-range and the George L gave a little more treble. Edit: I tested these cables with a PRS Custom 24 and a Soldano. I'm not sure what the difference would be like with a bass, if any! The only thing that concerns me is the way the cable goes in to the jack. Im a bit worried about pulling on the cable. Other than that (and seeing as it was free) im quite happy with it. I wouldn't ever use them as a cable to plug into your instrument... they just can't take the abuse over a period of time. But yeah. Great cables.
