paulmcnamara Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Can anyone tell me about this bass, played by John Poole of Lifesigns. Clearly the headstock says Squire Precision. It has p/j pick up configuration. Some of the sounds he got out of it last night were amazing. Sounded very much like a Ric at points. Were these standard issue or do you think it a bit of a custom job. Any comments would be welcome. Regards, Paul. Quote
Thunderbird Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 I think Squire deluxe P bass http://www.gak.co.uk/en/squier-vintage-modified-precision-bass-pj-lake-placid-blue/85161?gclid=Cj0KEQjwr-KeBRCMh92Ax9rNgJ8BEiQA1OVm-JDFG_fA-mYqvYeNQJXM593lw_QI0XrRhfftp9q9L6kaAg3I8P8HAQ Guess that is what he was playing Quote
LeftyJ Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Looks like a Squier Standard series P-Bass Special. Quote
jezzaboy Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Wot Lefty says. I don`t think you can buy them new any more. I had a wine red one as my first bass and they were not anything special. Or mabye that was down to me Quote
