I don't Like the look of alembics either but that's one nice bit of wood, I'd definitely put my coffee on that table!

With the body width and the scale length it looks like it's missing two strings and the ones on there are too fat. I don't know what Alembics go for but that doesn't seem unreasonable given that they're an über premium brand.

Looks cool to me though
