Pow_22
Been in a studio all week with my trusty P bass and all is going well. They had a few basses hung up around the bass and inbetween takes i was noodling on a Korean Epi Thunderbird loaded with some ancient looking flats. Now im a flats player through and through, have them on everything i own but ive never seen them on a T'bird before. Didnt get chance to plug in but was wondering if an BCers regularly play a flats loaded Tbird?
Panamonte
I've tried both rounds and flats on my Tbird. It's currently wearing worn in D'Addario Chromes which suit it really well. Played it at a gig last month and it sounded immense. A year ago it was the only one of my basses that DIDN'T have flats on and now it's the only one that DOES. blue
Flats on a TBird, I don't know. I guess it depends on your style of playing. I love flats on my German Made Hofner Club, but I use rounds on my 91 Gibson Tbird. Blue Edited August 5, 2014 by blue
Jean-Luc Pickguard
My epiphone pro-v is wearing a set of thomastik jf345 flats - its just a bass nothing special about it that would prevent flats working
