logicred
This bass was given to me after being stored for years. I have been onto the Matsumoku forum and it's been identified as an early SB-600 model with a set neck so possibly quite rare? Anyway, the pickup has been replaced with a single coil and I need to get it back to original. Does anybody know about the pickups for these? I think they are MB-1 or something. I understand I can by new replacements from possibly here: http://www.rautiaguitars.net/aria-pro-ii.html. If anyone else has any info on these basses I would like to know thanks!
Green Alsatian
I had an Aria SB-R60 and half of the coil was dead - very weak D/G output. I noticed the Rautiaguitar option but I got in touch with Aaron Armstrong and he made me a direct-fit replacement for £100 delivered within two weeks. You can have them wound to sound like the original but I opted for the pickup to be wound a little hotter and was very pleased with the result. http://www.armstrongpickups.co.uk/miscellaneous-pickups/
