Hi there,

This is Wishbass number 1314. It's a "Lobe" style instrument; the most popular style of Wishbass, handmade in the USA by Steve Wishnevsky.

The body is made from poplar wood with the job of the trussrod being done by the strips of purlple-heart wood that you seen running through the body, into the neck. The fingerboard is persimmon wood and it has a Kent Armstrong MM-style humbucker pup.

As part of the re-finish the jack socket has been moved to the side for it to have a more solid foundation, and a tone pot has been added to the front. The Bridge and Nut are made from ebony, but the original plastic bridge and nut will be included in the sale.

It has been hand sanded and completed in an oil finish. There are no dings or scrapes. The check in the wood that can be seen in the pictures is stable and is NOT damage. All Wishbasses are made from woods native to the USA and are often re-claimed timber, so checks and such come as standard.

The weight is 8lb 11oz or 3.9kg.

This unique piece of bass-history in the making comes in a hard case and can be shipped to you for the actual carrier cost. Also, I travel about the country a fair bit, so if you live in the Southern half of the country I may be able to deliver it at a very reasonable rate.

Thank you for looking.
