SOLD --- Fender USA Std Jazz Bass 2004 - £650 - Black & Rosewood £650

USA American Series Jazz Bass from 2004. All original, no mods. (The American Series was the then current name for the Standard model).

It has the awesome S-1 switch hidden in the volume knob. When pushed, the switch engages both pickups in series, rather than the usual parallel wiring. This produces a fatter sound which is more like a P Bass. So all of the original Jazz Bass tones are there, plus one killer one!

The bass is in good condition, has a couple of superficial knocks to the rear but it's just the paint that's affected. The neck is great, action is sweet and the truss rod is fully functional. It weighs in at 9.77lbs and has a full resonant tone with tons of crispness.

Comes with it's original Fender hard case.

The American Series was the current name for the Standard back then, so yeah, it's a Standard and not a Deluxe. Cheers!
