Sugden
Cheap in the UK doesnt seem to really apply to most DR strings

Alpha-Dave
I've bought from a couple of US ebay shops with good experiences both times, and half the UK price inc. postage.
largo
Yeah, me too. I buy my DR "coated" strings from either ebay shops in the US, or Thomann are pretty cheap even with shipping. I reckon a couple of sets from the US inc. shipping is still less than one set in the UK. And is under the customs allowance, so no extra costs. Muppet
I buy my DR sunbeams from a ebay user/shop called "koeblerenterprises". A shade over £30 for two sets. I'm never buying strings in this country - it's a rip off.

I assume that strings from the US slip in under the tax radar? Thanks Andy
Marcus
Hi Guys, I've been buying mine from Guitar Guitar in Newcastle...... I get a good deal based on their RRP, they match stringbusters which is canny !!! however given the prices quoted here i'm going to start shopping around a bit more...... Cheap and quick they were too, got a set of FatBeams from them. Edited July 10, 2007 by stevebasshead
