I was just looking at this site - they show out of stock on the popular hi-beam sizes, here's an alternative - http://www.stringsdirect.co.uk/

Yeah, me too. I buy my DR "coated" strings from either ebay shops in the US, or Thomann are pretty cheap even with shipping.
I reckon a couple of sets from the US inc. shipping is still less than one set in the UK. And is under the customs allowance, so no extra costs.

I bought my Lo-Riders here:

Postage took 14 days, 4 string set - under £15 (inclusive of postage) - I think he undercharged on postage also.

I buy my DR sunbeams from a ebay user/shop called "koeblerenterprises". A shade over £30 for two sets. I'm never buying strings in this country - it's a rip off.

Hi Muppet, although Ive asked the seller, I thought I may get a quicker response here, but do you know what you're charged for shipping? I assume that strings from the US slip in under the tax radar?
Thanks
I've been getting my strings from Germany. They do great deals on all my favourite brands.
These guys ? Cheap and quick they were too, got a set of FatBeams from them.
