Peavey Max 115... thoughts ?

Hi, is anyone using or has used the Peavey Max combos ? In particular the 300w115 mk2 ?

My Ashdown Mag 115 mk11 can't quite keep up with two guitars and a drummer so looking for a bit more ooomph. I've been looking at extension cabs and other combos for a while but not got around to buying anything yet.

I noticed these are being discounted and wondered if anyone had any thoughts on them ?

I had one of these years ago, when I started playing.
As all Peavey stuff, it's a decent sounding amp and pretty good for the money too. Fairly loud from what I remember.

Also, as with all Peavey stuff it's built like a tank, will run forever and weighs a ton!

Thanks, that's what I thought.

From the quoted weights the newer ones do seem to be quiet light, or at least lighter
