Afternoon all,

Had a walk around Nevada Music yesterday as I'm thinking of getting myself a 5 string for my next tour. Whilst in there I spotted a lovely CAR precision, which I'm thinking of getting. The plan is to get that, give it my normal treatment (Seymour Duncan 1/4 pounder P and a ceramic MM, hipshot ultralites and A type bridge), but there's one thing I can't decide. It comes with a parchment guard, but I can't decide on scratchplate and pickup cover colours, so I need your help.

Can any owners of a CAR bass please post some pics as inspiration. At the moment I'm torn between pearl white, matte black and pearl black guard. Just after seeing what you guys have done.

As you can see, no scratch plate and lots of chrome is the way to go:

Pearl white plate, lots of chrome bling. It is the only way to go on a CAR bass.
