Jimryan Posted August 14, 2014 Share Posted August 14, 2014 (edited) Afternoon all, Had a walk around Nevada Music yesterday as I'm thinking of getting myself a 5 string for my next tour. Whilst in there I spotted a lovely CAR precision, which I'm thinking of getting. The plan is to get that, give it my normal treatment (Seymour Duncan 1/4 pounder P and a ceramic MM, hipshot ultralites and A type bridge), but there's one thing I can't decide. It comes with a parchment guard, but I can't decide on scratchplate and pickup cover colours, so I need your help. Can any owners of a CAR bass please post some pics as inspiration. At the moment I'm torn between pearl white, matte black and pearl black guard. Just after seeing what you guys have done.
