I've recently had my #1 bass back after a prolonged period of fault/repair absence and, because there are loads of very lovely high end basses knocking about, I'm looking to sell or ideally trade some of my other basses with a view to getting something yum.

Third on the list is this [b]Lakland 55-02 Deluxe in Cherry Sunburst with maple board[/b].

Of the 5 basses I have up FS/FT, this is the one I'd most like to hold on to. It's stunning to look at for starters, but it's also extremely comfortable to play and has a huge range of tones available. It has the Lakland pick-ups and LH-3 pre-amp which I like a whole lot better than the Bartolini system these basses featured in the early days, though maybe I just never found the right bass until now.

Anyway there is oodles of punch in this thing and the action is super-low and on a rock stable neck. Condition is excellent with only one notable (but small) ding on the neck which doesn't interfere with playing at all.

I'm looking for £795 ono offer for this.

Price is for collection but can work out delivery options, don't mind meeting up if practical. I'm in Chepstow but gig all over S. Wales so Newport/Cardiff meets possible too.

Ideally, I would like to trade this alongside other basses, for something different.
