This is one of the new BC basses, not one of the old SGC Nanyo ones. If it was an MIJ SGC Nanyo that would be a fairly good price. For this one, it's probably about right, from what I hear - they seem to be decent at their price point, but no more than that. The moderns are Fender-style, J-ish or P-ish; the old SGCs are "modern"-style with a skinny headstock, like this one: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/199589-bass-collection-sgc-nanyo-japan-4-string-sold/.
