alyctes Posted August 19, 2014 Share Posted August 19, 2014 This is one of the new BC basses, not one of the old SGC Nanyo ones. If it was an MIJ SGC Nanyo that would be a fairly good price. For this one, it's probably about right, from what I hear - they seem to be decent at their price point, but no more than that. The moderns are Fender-style, J-ish or P-ish; the old SGCs are "modern"-style with a skinny headstock, like this one: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/199589-bass-collection-sgc-nanyo-japan-4-string-sold/.
