For sale. Stagg 3/4 EUB NOW SOLD Thanks £260

Hi there,

I'm looking to trade up to a NS Design electric DB, so I'm selling my Stagg EUB
I bought this bass at the Cambridge Folk Fest in 2012,
and I'm so glad I did - because it's what got me started into the new venture of Upright bass!

It was actually used in the festival, on stage 2, by Steve Tilston's bass player (hugh?)
he signed a copy of his cd, and I'll chuck that in as well - as it sort of belongs with the bass
A pal took some photos - but I still haven't seen the pics Lol!

Anyhow, it's pretty much in mint condition - with no knocks or dings that I can see
I never really gigged it - just took it along as spare, and it stayed in the bag

I've strung it with Black Nylon Wrap strings - which sound great,
and have a certain "dark" quality to them
I've also got the steel strings it came with - if anyone wants to bow this bass

Some of these seem to suffer with battery / electric type issues,
but this one doesn't - recently realised I'd left the last battery in for almost a year!

As I've mentioned, the bass comes with it's carry case, and both removable rests,
as it did new. But I also bought the proper Stagg stand for the bass
(which was about £60 with postage) - and the deal here,
is I'll chuck that in for this price - so I don't want to sell the stand separately

I'd rather not post this item, as I don't like posting instruments,
and it's a tad more bulky when you include the stand....
So It's collection only, or I could arrange to meet / deliver for some petrol money
I'm based in Cardiff

handily, these basses come with an MP3 player socket, AND
a separate headphone socket, which I found really handy
Especially when learning, or playing late at night - it's virtually silent,
so Mrs S couldn't complain

It really is a little financial outlay - and you'd get your money back on one of these anyhow
