What was the big hit of the summer?

Was there one? I don't listen to a lot of radio, but it would be good to get a current chart hit into the set as Happy, Get Lucky and Counting Stars are the most recent songs we do at the moment, and they're all getting ona bit now.

As well as the Pharrell and Daft Punk thing (and Avicii) which are all a bit 2013, we do Rude by that popular beat combo Magic, which goes down well. And I get to play some reggae*...


* in the sense that Moondance is [i]definitely[/i] jazz, etc...

Happy was spring , not sure about the summer, kids didn't over play anything that springs to mind.

"Let it go"......from the Frozen soundtrack is MASSIVE with the teens and unders right now. And Pearl Jam sneaked it into the jam in the middle section of Daughter, so its obviously a rock classic too......

Most recent hits on our setlist are Sing & Counting Stars. Sing is quite fun to play, but needs a singer with a decent range who can also rap! Our vocalist split it between them!
