I'd love to get another - unfortunately it's not possible to spec a lightweight. Understandable, but a shame!

It's going to be a '63J black over white with matching headstock. The wear and tear to be modeled on a vintage jazz bass.

OK so here's the 63J.....ish. It sort of morphed into a Limelight Geddy Lee '72 Jazz bass. Comes with a spare pearloid pickguard that's going to get an Amalgamation symbol on it. It's based on pics of the real thing and the Fender CS version they launched a few years ago (at a rediculous price iirc).

Whilst the neck on this one is not sanded back and oiled like the original it has been rubbed back to make it a smooth as possible with the the usual nitro finish.

Out of interest, what sort of weights are the P's coming in at?

White over CAR - really cool! But a matchiung headstock on a '63? That's just wrong...  Did you order it like that?

I was looking to buy a USA Jazz deluxe, and that had black blocks, but looked more swirly than acrylic, and rather fetching. 

It also had a neck pocket which looked to have been routed by a spoon, so that didn’t progress. 

Now looking at limelight’s ...
