Guest FretNoMore
The Grand Tarkin sounds great, I think I'd like to try it, but my pedalboard is super cramped and the pedal looks a bit bigger than the usual enclosures ... is it (can't find any dimensions)? And if so, do you think it could be squeezed into an Empress/Tech21 type enclosure?
TG Flatline
120*94mm sized enclosure, jacks are north-mounted. Hope that helps :-)

Sibob
Yeah, standard 1590bb size Measure your boss sized pedals (1590b, 125b etc) with side-mounted jacks.....similar width as 1590bb with north mouth jacks or close enough Si
Guest FretNoMore
OK then ... payday is coming up, so if there's enough left over after the rent and other boring stuff is paid ... Edited August 23, 2014 by FretNoMore
TG Flatline
Fuzztastic. Yours is a pedalboard I am impressed with everytime you post pictures of changes so very happy at the prospect of being represented on there!
dannybuoy
I think it is a standard Tech21 sized enclosure already, it's smaller than it looks in the photos!
Guest FretNoMore
I have the Tall Font Russian now, and while it is quite nice I find it's a bit difficult to dial in a sound that has good bottom end and a bit more clarity at the same time. My thinking/hope is the Tarkin with the blend and mid should fix that. What do you think, has someone compared these two?
dannybuoy
Played both but not at the same time - I think you'll be happy with the Tarkin, the mids knob is magic!
Guest FretNoMore
Well, I was going to wait for the pay check but ... order placed. Edited August 23, 2014 by FretNoMore
ratman
The Grand Tarkin is awesome, the mids knob really opens it up in a band mix. You're going to love it.
BassKiwi
Hi guys, about Grand Tarkin - what about the sound? Is GT vintage or more modern sounding (like Grey Stache)? Of course its not possible to try the pedal out...and on youtube are just two videos I think. Can I get some advice? Thanks
