Guest MoJo Posted August 25, 2014 Share Posted August 25, 2014 (edited) Genuine reluctant sale. Yamaha BBN5 fitted with Dimarzio Area J pickups. Nice low action, with no buzzes or rattles. Currently strung with an almost fresh set of Hybrid Slinkys. The Area J's are a humbucking pickup, voiced to give a single coil tone and I can honestly say that this bass has a great range of tones. Bright, punchy with great clarity in the lows, especially the low B. For some reason, my ageing brain is struggling to adapt. I can't understand it, I've had 5's before but, as soon as I slip on one of my 4's, it's like popping on a pair of well worn slippers, familiar and comfortable. It comes with a hard case which is in excellent condition. The bass itself is in very good overall condition. There is a scratch on the rear which has been there since I had it. Buyer can collect from DY3 (Dudley area) or, I'm willing to meet within a reasonable distance.
