JohnH
Hi! I'm getting a 1997 Warwick Corvette standard 6 string next week and it's current owner says the active/passive push pull pot needs replacing, it works fine in passive mode, but is hit and miss in active, would this be a suitable replacement? http://www.andertons.co.uk/guitar-parts/pid19496/cid708/dimarzio-push-pull-500k-volume-pot.asp?LGWCODE=19496;56375;2717&utm_source=googlebase&utm_term=EP-1201-PP&utm_medium=pricecomp&utm_campaign=GoogleShopping&gclid=CJ2NyIrQs8ACFc7HtAodygQAHg I've never replaced a pot myself before! Cheers! - John
LukeFRC
the support section of warwick's website has diagrams of the electronics - the part is a B500K push pull part number i've found is M81 SP003 but I think that is the version with a circuit board attached to it. You need to make sure that the pot is long enough to go through the wood . also you sure it's the pot that's the problem not the actual electronics themselves? JohnH
I haven't played it but the seller tells me that everything else is fine and it's just the volume push pull pot, once I get the bass, I'll take a closer look then get the part needed. pfretrock
Just got one of those switch pots from Axetec.co.uk, about a fiver each. There is also a long collar version to go through wood. They have detailed dimensioned drawings so you can check if the pot-switch will fit in the panel and the route before you buy.
