The bass is in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, where I welcome play/trial/collection or i can also deliver it within UK in its Hiscox hard-case.

This is a really excellent P-bass and it deserves to be played. It's also an extremely practical gigging bass ... the graphite neck means that you never need to adjust the trussrod and it barely goes out of tune.

I only sold it because I'm playing pretty much exclusively 5-string these days. I hope it sells to another Basschatter. I may need to buy it back one day. B)

If you ever have the feeling that a boutique 6 string will suit your style more at any given minute, have a look at my signature and drop me a note

Damn it, not this fantastic looking bass again! I thought it was all nice and gone so I can stop thinking about it... Somebody, please, buy it quick for the sake of my sanity...

Not that you need it but - GLWTS.

If you happen to fancy a '78 Gibson RD Artist let me know, been looking at these Status' for a while now but need to shift the Gibson first.

I could really do with the cash, but would consider trades for Fender Jazzes

I'm a big status fan, I've had one of these vintage j's before some years ago, never should have sold it as they are fantastic instruments with such a responsive feel, a quick neck and such a great tonal range..... Hard to come by now aswell....
Wish I had the cash to whip this up, I'm Surprised its still here (unless you've sold it )...
Great basses and a stunning looking little beauty too.

I will come back if I can manage to have a streamline of gear and make a few sales over the next few weeks.... These don't come up often and I'd sure like to add it to my collection :)

Gutted that I can't even commit and offer a deposit at this point , I just can't as I'm unsure how long I could raise the cash....so don't hang on for me... :(
But if it doesn't sell I'll be checking back in on this soon.

Cheers, and apologies for a half arsed interest in your status, these things always crop up when your skint !!!

Hi Rob, sorry to hear you didn't get on with this one. I've got a nice Limelight Jazz but it's a bit......erm, worn
[/quote]

Hi Mart, how are you? Your welcome to have a play on this one if you want, being a fellow Rotherham and Status man! Thanks for the offer with the Limelight...but not my thing mate sorry!

No worries Rob, relics are an acquired taste! Sounds superb though and at least I won't worry about it picking up a couple o dings when I'm playing in Wath tonite. GLWTS mate.

Mart's J is awesome btw! It's not on the sales list is it mate? Maybe we could arrange a 3 way trade if it is...?

Hi. Nice looking Status
Whats the weight of this bass?
Also, is it a Jazz type neck or a Precision?
Cheers
