The old wooden-necked Status basses don't fetch anywhere near as much as their graphite siblings. Not sure if this is a Groove or a Shark, but either way, £425 is maybe a tad high

It's neither of the above possibly an Eclipse. You are right the price is a little high considering today's market - a shame as wooden neck Status basses are superb instruments.

Yes, after finding a few Status wooden necks. It does seem to what they fetch around. Browsing recently, there are plenty of bargains out on Gumtree!
