warwickhunt
I think this seller may have come up on this forum before and I think he is genuine/thorough but this does appear to be a classic case where a guy is trying too hard with his sell. He has described the fact that Dana B Goods in the States have 'heat treated the neck' and that he has spent '2 full days' setting the action on this bass... if it has taken that long to set up I'd be scared sh*tless that the neck will be a pain in the backside if it shifts in transit/humidity/personal preferrence for set-up http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=290249166447
yorks5stringer
Interestingly he reckons by putting a note in the case saying "thanks for the loan buddy" he can get around the import/vat issues that arise when sending stuff from outside the EC. At some point they will twig as he had a huge loan collection............
Deep Thought
I normally don't like Warwicks at all (sorry!), but that does look rather nice. Showing my ignorance again, how does one play a bass like that? Does one pluck two strings at once, 12-string guitar style? How's it sound? I had a Streamer 8 string and I could play it fingerstyle with no problem but I have to confess it benefited when I switched to pick and started playing 'Jeremy' or a few old Cheap Trick numbers My Streamer... can you guess why I sold it
