Roland Rock
I'd like to get a wobble on by controlling my Xerograph with a LFO pedal. I'm using an expression pedal to do this at the moment, but like the thought of an automatic preset wobble. Are there any simple LFO pedals out there, ideally able to be powered with a standard 9v centre negative power supply?

Roland Rock
This video shows pretty much what I'm after. http://youtu.be/whvNhkC4Skg I like the way you can alter the wobble rate with footswitches
Roland Rock
Tom at Cog has politely pointed me towards Robot Factory as the most suitable place to get one. I've emailed them asking whether they can build a custom LFO where you can switch from fast to slow wobble with your foot.
Roland Rock
Well, nothing back from Robot Factory :-( In the meantime, I found The Broadcast, by CoPilot pedals, and I like it! It's got the following features: - Expression pedal plugs into The Broadcast, and Broadcast plugs into the LPF - In manual mode, the EP sweeps the LPF as normal - Footswitch to LFO mode, and LFO sweeps the LPF - EP can control LFO rate, or ratio (1, 2, 3, 4 or 0.5), selectable with toggle switch - Other footswitch is tap tempo - Range knob sets upper limit of sweep - Wave knob goes from even sweep to wobble to random craziness Can't wait! elephantgrey
Doesnt look like any of these have midi tempo sync, which is disappointing.
Roland Rock
Yeah, tempo sync would be great, but TBH I'm happy with tap tempo setting.
The Badderer
have you not considered the Source Audio gear for this. very good for this. you will want to look at either a bass envelope filter pro, or the Manta filter, and consider the use of a hot hand. these things are amazing! http://bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Soundblox_Manta_Filter.html
Roland Rock
Thanks for that - looks like a great all in one solution. I already have the gated fuzz and the LPF that I need, and have already ordered a Broadcast.
xgsjx
Have you considered Shep's MP-201 in the classifieds? It's the be all-end all of expression pedals.

[/quote] I bet those are two tonnes of fun, but that one has sold - besides, my new LFO is being built as we speak :-) I'll report back once I've recieved the Broadcast and hooked it up to my LPF
Roland Rock
Excitement today as my Broadcast arrived - not bad timing for a custom build coming from the Dominican Republic! Sounds great, but the tap tempo doesn't work :-( CoPilot chap was great though, and he's sending a replacement out ASAP

Roland Rock
The replacement Broadcast has arrived and tap tempo and everything else working fine. I've done a quick vid to show the very basics of what it does, with some oscillation fun at the end to show the different waveforms. Sorry it's so quiet, just the ipad mic. As you can see, I put on my best socks and work trousers :-D https://www.dropbox.com/s/w5l0tvdzxc1nuf1/Video%2029-10-2014%2010%2057%2049.mov?dl=0 Edited October 29, 2014 by Roland Rock
