Cab hook ups

I am looking to get a genz benz 12.2

There rated at 2x 600 at 4ohm or 2x 375 at 8ohm

I have two tc electronic cabs rated at 250w at 8ohm

Can I use one output of the amp into one cab and then into the second cab in a chain

Therefore sending 300w to each cab and just keep the volume away from max

two 250 w cabs at 8ohms each means you can push 500 into that combined 4ohm load. if the amp can put out 600w into 4 ohms, then you can probably run it as long as you don't go full tilt, and listen for the cab distress. keep in mind, the master volume is not a wattage control, so you can possibly get a 600w burst even when the master is set at noon if you pump a strong signal into it. definitely watch your eq, since lower frequencies use lots of power, thus boosting the lows could put you in the danger zone faster.

keep in mind, i've never used that head nor those cabs, so my advice is only based theoretical numbers and not specific, real world application.

Doesn't that amp have two power amps? So it can run at 8 ohms 375w a side? So just run a cab in to each side is what I would do.
