What settings on the Fishman Bass Platinum EQ do you use?

I've only just got one so any guidance would be appreciated!

I tried the recommended settings in the manual and it's ok (going into the FX return on a Genz Shuttle 9.2) but it's not quite there. But when I move stuff I get further away from the sound in my head!

What DB are you playing, what sort of pickup are you using, what sort of music do you do, what volume do you play at, etc. etc. etc.

As usual, the more you tell people, the more they can help.

I'm using it with a NXT5 loaded with Spiros.

Trying to get as close as possible to a nice woody pizz sound.

That's quite a mid-heavy sound, quite typical of a piezo pickup and the sort of sound I try to dial out to be honest! So my advice probably won't help much, but I'd say start with the EQ flat, dial out any unwanted boominess with the depth knob, then tweak the EQ to suit, but try to use as little as possible. I usually end up with a little maybe 3db boost of the bass slider, even less on the low mid and everything else flat, but I take the Bass Max off the bass unless I'm doing a loud gig, so the pickup's not always mounted exactly the same and I do have to do a little tweaking when I use it.

Obviously other pre amp settings are available.

I was showing mine as an example.....and thought others would show us their settings..... but apparently not
