Mighty Mite necks

Hi all,
Just started sourcing parts for a Precision/Jazz build and wondered if anyone has any experience/opinions in Mighty Mite necks. Could get an unfinished maple Jazz neck and Ash Precision body from Musicians Friend for the same price as an unfinished Allparts neck! Was originally leaning towards Allparts as they look more authentic with the truss rod adjustment at the heel, but if I can keep costs down that leaves me more to spend on other bits. Plus, I should be fairly confident of the Mighty Mite neck and body going together without any fettling. I've heard that the MM necks will need a bit of work done to the frets, but was gonna get a set up done on completion anyway.
Thanks for any advice!

Mine is sat 2 ft away, a ruler 1ft away - 38mm at the nut, 20mm deep at the first fret position. Not as skinny as the skinniest Jazz style necks such as a Geddy Lee, Jaguar or my Precision Lyte (which is 18mm deep at the first fret), but more like a 'regular' Jazz. Whatever that is. :)

Bluebass is still around http://cgi.ebay.co.u...em=331285054567

Got a MM P neck off him a couple of months ago. The tint is really nice and just the right amount of colour to look 'aged'. Fender logo looks great and well lacquered. It's inbetween a Jazz and P neck for width at the nut, which is what I wanted

Would recommend 100%
