bassmansky
my mates amp went wrong ,he took it back to pmt who said they would send it back to the manafacturer as it was still under warranty,ok so far,he was told it would be a minimum of two weeks so he asked for a replacement of some kind while his was away as he had got a couple of gigs and was told pmt's policy is not to give customers a replacement of any kind!is that normal precidure or are they out of order? thedontcarebear
Yeah, seems pretty normal to me, I wouldn't expect a temp replacement.

Stingray5
It's not the norm. Shops don't usually 'hire' gear out, especially the stuff they're trying to sell. Maybe some do with s/h stock and even then it would have to be on the basis of how well they know the customer. If they were to hire/loan out gear, I guess it would be under contract along with a deposit of some sort for security/damage etc. Edited July 28, 2008 by Stingray5
bassmansky
i knew the manager well and he knew i was interested in a fender jazz which i bought so that was probably the reason he lent me one.
