I`d also throw a Korean Squier into the pot as well, they`re very good basses, necks are fantastic - or at least the necks on both of the ones I`ve had were. A tweaked truss rod, lowered action and intonation set, white scratchplate for looks and I'm away. Resale value? Not bothered in the slightest. This'll do me for years. Cheers folks!
