UPDATE 4/11/14 - BASS HAS FOUND NEW HOME

Hi all, 1993/4 Silver Series Squier P Bass up for grabs. Rosewood/Sunburst/Tort finish. Stock except the Seymour Duncan pickup and tort guard. I had this bass as a back up to my '79 P Bass, but never actually used it, plus I've just bought a Jazz so this needs to find a new home. Lightweight bass, set up with a nice low action and a fresh set of nickel rounds. No HSC, but can chuck in a pretty worn rock bag so you can get it home. Pics to follow.

Have you had the pickguard off at all? What's the cavity like? Do you know if this is solid wood or not?

Hi mate, it is solid under the guard, and there is a tunnel leading from the pickup cavity to the control cavity.

Asking price seems perfectly reasonable to me. But as I own Silver Series, I know how flaming good they are!!

If you're a Fender player, the perfect backup instrument. If you want US Fender tone but haven't got the greenbacks - well, here's your answer.
