Great piece of film. I liked the hands on approach, shows how the World has changed. Also nice to see some of the Strats with their original 'ashtray' bridge covers. Great find and thanks for posting it.

I thought the same thing seeing those surnames and I've noticed similar names when people have checked vintage necks and bodies for signatures and dates - I wonder if many owners on here have basses made by those exact people shown in the film?

The skill of the guy with the band saw is amazing. In the comments on YouTube, someone says that their parents are in the video and that he thinks there is more footage of a similar nature. Would love to see that as well, particularly if it shows basses being made!
