The Doc
Hi all Just stumbling in after googling potential valve changes for my newly aquired Orange TB1000 - thought I'd sign up for the crack. Been playing on and off since I was 14 many moons ago, love playing the blues - rock spectrum. I own just 3 basses; an old Peavey that I bought years ago, its a cheap bass but plays like an absolute peach...I had it de-fretted by Oasis in Ringwood a few years ago just as an option. I've also got a Fret-King Ventura and a Gretsch Billy-Bo, both unconventional but I love 'em. I've just reluctantly sold the rig I've had for years - a Marshall VBA400 plus VBC412. It pained me to see it go but It was getting to be a bit of a pain lugging it about and the other half didn't like it's footprint in her front room. In its place I am now the proud owner of an Orange TerrorBass 1000 and two SP212 cabs. Not played 'em in anger yet - can't wait though. Anyway that's me. Probably won't be posting much....we'll see.
