[/quote] don't lose hope, you are holding an amazing bass, for some reason it is easier to sell a fodera in 5000 pounds than a ritter in almost half, even though IMO Ritter's build quality and sound are no less and in some cases a lot better.... TheGreek Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 I really like the R8 - one of the nicest single cut basses around - there's a really nice white one on eBay at the moment - Molan has a white Cora (I think) with white strings - looks very stylish... This will probably be going to The Gallery following The Herts Bass Bash as there has been little interest here..

TheGreek Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 Does far more than any Fender could ever dream of....there's absolutely no comparison..it's like trying to compare today's top Porche to a classic Volkswagon Beetle. The range of sounds/tones from the Ritter filter system can create virtually any tone that you'd ever need...and a few more besides. You really need to try one to know what I mean but since they're pretty rare in comparison to Fenders and not held in stock at many shops (Bass Gear, in Reading being one of the few exceptions) you'll probably only get the chance to try one at one of the trade shows or Bass Bashes. I'll be taking this to the next Herts Bass Bash on 14th June where it will be available to try - I know it'll be a major trek from Belgium but you're welcome to have a go if you can make it. Till then you'll have to drool over those featured in the "Gear Porn" and "For sale" threads...
