TheGreek Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 (edited) Priced reduced to £425 As part of my gear cull I am offering for sale my PJ Briefcase. Never gigged - it's only outings have been to the last 2 Herts Bashes. It's in pretty much mint condition and comes with the cover. I still have all the paperwork and the receipt. Needs to go where it's going to get used rather than sitting in the corner of my flat. JapanAxe Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 What is the realistic battery life on this? For example if busking in the street in a stripped-down rockabilly stylee outfit...
TheGreek Posted September 21, 2014 Author Posted September 21, 2014 (edited) No idea...probably best to look at the PJ website.... Had a quick look - none of the reviews make any mention of the battery life - internal batteries are rechargeable... Edited September 21, 2014 by TheGreek
TheGreek Posted September 28, 2014 Author Posted September 28, 2014 Now reduced to £425 which is around what others have sold for here. Can't stress how mint this is - it really is like new - I even have the original receipt and all the paperwork....
pete.young Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Battery life with a battery in decent condition is around one hour. Great bits of kit these, surprisingly loud and beautifully made.
jazzyvee Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 I bought one of these when they first started coming to the UK and it is a great piece of kit. As well as bass it's superb with acoustic-electric guitars.
tom1946 Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Is there a battery with it? What colour is it? thanks.
TheGreek Posted October 4, 2014 Author Posted October 4, 2014 I believe there is a built in rechargeable battery. It is black and comes with the leather (look?) cover.
jazzyvee Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 When I got mine it did not come with an internal battery, you had to buy that separately and install it by removing the bottom plate. It does add a fair bit of extra weight but is a great option.
pete.young Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014
I believe there is a built in rechargeable battery. It is black and comes with the leather (look?) cover.
Its pretty easy to tell. Does it keep working when you unplug the mains lead?
TheGreek Posted October 19, 2014 Author Posted October 19, 2014 Needs to go as part of my cull....I think it's reasonably priced...make me an offer?
