CH161
I am not asking £80. I am asking for £60 for the set. I can't change the mistake above! One set of shiny Schaller BMFL bass tuners. These have Schaller engraved on the back rather than Fender. Clover leaf as 70s Fender basses. I should add the screw holes (and screws) fit directly into Fender basses from 1968 - 1976 with no extra holes required. Jono Bolton
What's the weight of these?
CH161
Interesting question? Each tuner weighs in at 103g The whole bag of all the bits is 461g - that's in a light jiffy bag. Are you thinking about postal costs? Thanks...
Jono Bolton
No not the postage costs, I have set of tuners in this style from a Geddy Lee Jazz on my P Bass and they're heavy as hell, just wondering how much weight these would save me. CH161
Oh I see! Interesting...maybe he likes a heavier headstock end? I've seen a lot of people add a weight to the headstock to increase sustain - I've never tried it myself. Fender even make a clip on weight now. I've never seen the problem myself. Cheers... GregBass
Could you give the dimensions between fixing holes please? I have a '73 Fender in need of tuners
CH161
Hi, I can measure them for you later, but they are exactly the same size as the Fender ones. They will definitely fit a 73 no problem at all. These came out of a 75. Schaller were making the Fender tuners for Fender in the 70s. These are just newer versions of those. CH161
Here we go... Top left screw hole to top right is 3.3 cm centre to centre top right to bottom right 3.6 cm btm right to btm left 2.5 cm btm left to top left 3.6 cm I think the real size is probably imperial but these are the cm versions. Cheers... Edited October 3, 2014 by CH161

GregBass
The hole spacing is different to mine. Maybe they fitted different tuners to Mustangs
CH161
Ah yes, they are thinner on Mustangs. Not sure why but I assumed we were talking about a Precision or Jazz bass. My mistake! Schaller do make some for yours though. Have a look on the website. Cheers...
