Can anyone tell me what sort of venue this is?
Want to know what sort of crowd they get, and how much space...
and anything else you think is relevant,

I gigged there about 5 yrs ago, lovely pub on the river, i think we played upstairs rather than down, not too sure about what kind of crowd you'll get as ours was a private show, what date are you there? I'll try and pop in if I'm not gigging myself.

Thanks, we haven't gone for a date yet, but have been recommended to the pub and I've looked at the current rosta
and I know of a couple of the bands so it might suit us.
Will let you know if it pans out.

Also try "The Pier" next door, great little intimate venue that has a good muso crowd, Never played in the daws but have a had a few drinks there :-)

There's always good crowd in the pub (daws), but not always downstairs unfortunately.
The middle ei8ht is a great gig. Good crowd, although not the biggest of stages- our guitarist ended up with his gear on the floor when we played there earlier in the year.

Space is an issue with us.... will see how negotiations go, but sounds like a nice type of place to play.
